ShapeCrete has a unique property of being able to bend into shape.
STEP 1: Supplies
The only thing you need for this project is a sheet of plastic and a few cardboard tubes.
STEP 2: Mix and Pack
Mix ShapeCrete to a Clay-Like Consistency and pack it onto the form. Try to maintain a uniform thickness of about 1/4". Use a trowel to slice and smooth the outside edges.
STEP 3: Drape over Cardboard Tubes
Tape the cardboard tubes in place. Very carefully lift the sheet and gently place it on the tubes in whatever orientation you want.
STEP 3: Drape over Cardboard Tubes
Smooth out any cracks that formed when the piece was bent. Cover the piece with plastic and leave it to cure overnight. Leave very thin and delicate pieces to cure for an extra day or two. This will minimize the chance of it breaking during demolding.
STEP 4: Demold
Carefully remove the cardboard tubes from the piece.
Peel away the plastic liner. Sand and smooth the edges with a diamond hand pad.
